Keith Kaplan blends a rich reinsurance, underwriting, run-off and risk management background with strong financial and legal acumen.  Prior to establishing Anselma Capital, Keith enjoyed a successful 34 year Property & Casualty insurance career with major carriers that included over 15 years as a Chief Reinsurance Officer and Run-Off Executive as well as significant experience as an Underwriting Officer and Risk Manager. His background also includes creating and implementing start-up business plans, litigation and claims management, sell side M&A, sell side of Insurance Linked Securities, and service on various Boards of Directors.

       Keith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance, and a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law.  He also holds numerous insurance industry designations including CPCU, ARM, AU, ARe, AMIM, ARP, AIAF and AIM.

      Keith is an ARIAS-US certified arbitrator as well as an AIRROC approved arbitrator and mediator.  He is also an engaging public speaker who has  guest lectured or presented at various universities, corporations and industry conferences.
